The special model comes with Artisan Red Premium exterior color plus sports tan interior and 35th Anniversary Edition lettering. It also comes with a powered hardtop convertible roof and 17-inch alloy wheels

According to Mazda, the current MX-5 maintains its lightweight concept and fun-to-drive character, offering excellent handling and precise control, thanks to a 50-50 front-rear weight distribution and low center of gravity.

Power comes from a 2.0-liter SKYACTIV-G engine developing 184 horsepower at 7,000rpm and 205Nm at 4,000rpm. The front-engined rear-wheel-drive roadster comes with a 6-speed automatic gearbox with shift paddles on the steering wheel.
