The Suzuki Fronx has achieved a 5-Star rating from Asean NCAP (New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries), the agency announced.

The Fronx, which has been launched in several Asean markets such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, performed well, the agency said, achieving a 5-Star Asean NCAP rating with an accumulated score of 77.70 points.

The model achieved a score of 36.71 points in the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) category, 15.27 points in the Child Occupant Protection (COP) category, 15.71 points in the Safety Assist (SA) category, and 10.00 points in the Motorcyclist Safety (MS) category.

In Thailand, the Suzuki Fronx, priced from Bt689,000 to Bt799,000 across three variants, is equipped with standard fitment across all variants, including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Seatbelt Reminder System (SBR) for both front and rear seat occupants, Pedestrian Protection (PP), and ISOFIX for child seats.

The top GLS Plus variant also offers several safety assist technologies, including Dual Sensor Brake Support II, Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Blind Spot Monitor, Auto High Beam (AHB), Head Up Display, Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and 360-degree camera.
