Suzuki start deliveries of Fronx SUV

Suzuki Motor Thailand has started to deliver the new Fronx subcompact SUV to customers, after receiving more than 5,000 pre-orders from August 25 to September 24 through online channels.

According to the Japanese automaker, a total of 5,364 pre-orders were placed during that period with deliveries taking place just a few days after the public launch on September 25.

Currently Suzuki is also staging customer driving events for the Fronx, with a large number of participants being those who have place pre-orders.

“Suzuki is committed to offering good products that come with excellent after sales service, as well as responding swiftly to customer requirements,” Wallop Treererkngarm, vice president of Suzuki Motor Thailand Co td, said.

He said Suzuki is committed to operating in Thailand and serving Thai customers, although the company is shutting down its Thai production at the end of this year.

“We believe that the Fronx will offer customers an excellent driving experience and respond to everyone’s lifestyle with its outstanding qualities,” he added.

Fronx customers comprise of existing Suzuki owners and new customers looking for vehicles with high value-for-money and trustworthy after sales service, Wallop said.

For example, Mr Yap is a long-time Suzuki customer who has decided to purchase the Fronx.

“I have many Suzuki vehicles including the Vitara, Grand Vitara, Caribbean, SX4, Swift 1.5 and Jimny, and I’ve added the Fronx GL as the latest member of the family,” he said. “I still believe that Suzuki is a vehicle brand that is highly durable with low maintenance cost, and I am also confident about the quality of the service center.”

Khun June said, “Our family have been using the Suzuki Swift since 2012 and we’ve decided to purchase the Fronx because of the confidence in the quality of Suzuki products as well as the simplicity, reliability and long-term value for the family. There’s also a large number of Suzuki service center around the country which gives us peace of mind when driving long distances.”

Khun Nu said, “We’ve been using the Suzuki Swift since 2018 and we’re impressed with the performance, value and the peace of mind from this brand. I’ve been following the news of the Fronx since it was launched overseas and wanted this model from the start.”

Khun Ploy and Khun Phrae said, “We’ve been using the Suzuki XL7 since 2020 and are confident of the quality and durability of Suzuki vehicles. We chose the Fronx because of the sporty coupe SUV design which is pretty outstanding and modern-looking.”

Suzuki has 86 showrooms in the country and 47 body and paint repair centers. It also has mobile service for basic maintenance and is expanding its 2S (Service and Spare Parts) network in addition to 3S (Sales, Service and Spare Parts) outlets.

The Fronx is priced from Bt689,000 for the baseline GL variant, Bt749,000 for the GLX and Bt799,000 for the GLX Plus.

Customers placing orders for the Fronx from today to December 31 will receive 1.99-per cent interest, one-year insurance and three-year 24-hour emergency service. In addition, Suzuki is also offering a seven-year Suzuki Fronx Worry Free Maintenance Package with prices starting at Bt27,999.
