In this video we review the Thai-spec 2025 Mazda CX-5 XDL that’s powered by a 190-hp turbo diesel engine and comes with an AWD system.
The CX-5 line-up now consists of the 2.0-liter petrol (two variants) and 2.2-diesel featured in this review, while the 2.5-liter turbo petrol engine has been dropped due to low demand.
Nevertheless, the update model comes with several new features, including adaptive LED headlights and LED Signature tail lights, glossy black front grille, front and rear bumpers, paddle gearshift, revised damper settings, 19-inch wheels, powered tailgate with handsfree function, Bose sound system with subwoofer, wireless charger, etc.
Mazda has not announced the official pricing, which will be made public at the upcoming Motor Expo at the end of this month. However, the Japanese automaker says that retail pricing will be slashed by Bt100,000 to Bt250,000 across the new CX-5 lineup in Thailand.
