Bridgestone Sales (Thaland) Co Ltd has introduced the POTENZA Adrenalin RE004 high-performance tires which it claims bring racetrack technology to race cars.
According to Bridgestone, key features of the RE004 are as follows:
- Triple & Half Grooves help distribute pressure evenly across the tire’s contact area with the road, providing confident cornering and braking performance on both dry and wet road surfaces.
- Wide Inside Rib increases the tire’s contact area with the road surface, enhancing grip and providing confident control on both dry and wet road surfaces.
- A-Shape & Aggressive Groove with Adrenalin’s sporty DNA, enhancing the strength of the tread blocks and reduce tire flex during driving. This results in speed steering response and precise vehicle control.
the high-performance POTENZA Adrenalin RE004 tire was also tested on the legendary Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 MR, a rally (WRC) all-wheel-drive sedan from Japan with advanced technology. Known for its iconic 4G63 engines with 280 horsepower, this car allowed Bridgestone to fine-tune the tire’s design for optimal performance in Thai conditions.
Back in 2005, Bridgestone imported the vehicle, one of only seven full-body imports in Thailand to develop and test various high-performance sport tire family at the Thai Bridgestone Proving Ground, including POTENZA G3, POTENZA RE001, and POTENZA RE002, all designed to deliver powerful, exciting, and safe driving experience for speed enthusiasts.
