    New models launched at Motor Expo 2025

    This year’s Motor Expo has kicked off with 42 automobile and 16 motorcycle brands taking part at the Challenger Hall Muangthong Thani.

    Show organizer Kwanchai Paphatphong said this year’s theme is “The Magnificent Motor Expo”, and the show is expected to help boost the automobile market thanks new model launches and sales promotions.

    Toyota, the largest auto company in Thailand, will be reaping up orders for its new Hilux Travo pickup truck that has just been launched, while Isuzu will compete with the 2026 D-MAX and Mu-X featuring new 2.2-liter engines.

    Honda and Nissan have both launched imported vehicles from Japan – the Honda StepWGN e:HEV SPADA and Nissan X-Trail e-POWER. Mazda has also launched a Japanese import – the Mazda6e electric car.

    Meanwhile, Mitsubishi has introduced the 2026 Xpander and Xpander Cross facelift. Lexus is also present with the flagship LX 500D SUV on display.

    Suzuki is making a comeback and is promoting the Fronx subcompact SUV, which is the latest model from the Japanese automaker the Thai market.

    Mercedes-Benz is highlighting the CLA 250+ with EQ Technology, an electric car from the latest MMA platform, while arch rival BMW is highlighting the long-wheelbase BMW iX1 eDrive20L M Sport.

    Audi also has a good collection of EVs and PHEVs, with this year’s highlight being the new Q5 e-hybrid. Porsche is the only supercar manufacturer present this year and its main exhibit is the 911 Spirit 70.

    Another European manufacturer is Volvo which has launched the new XC60, while American automaker Ford is highlighting two of its Ranger racing trucks.

    Korean automakers Kia is showing the new Carnival HEV and while Hyundai is showing the Santa Fe XRT Concept.

    Chinese carmakers are a major force at the Motor Expo and some of the new models launched include the MG IM5, GWM WEY G9 Hi4, NEX Cargo Vantastic, Maxus eDeliver 5, Jaecoo 6T, Leapmotor B10, Avatar 07, Denza D9 Phantom Edition, XPeng G6 Standard Range, Wuling Binguo, Geely EX2 and more.

    The event goes on until December 10 and tickets are priced at Bt100 (one-day pass) and Bt240 (three-day pass).
