Auto sales are expected to get a boost as crowds head to the 2025 Bangkok International Motor Show for the latest models and attractive sales promotions from more than 50 automobile and motorcycle companies taking part.
A record number of Chinese automakers are participating in the event taking up as much as half of the show area in the main hall. Apart from new EV and hybrid models, Chinese brands are also offering huge price discounts for existing models.
Aion created quite a stir with its UT mini EV that comes with a starting price of just Bt499,000, while other Chinese brands are also offering highly-attractive prices as well.
For example BYD has cut the price of its Dolphin to Bt499,900 while the MG4 starts at Bt559,900.
Nevertheless, Japanese automakers are also offering new models (Nissan Serena e-Power and Mitsubishi XForce) along with attractive sales promotions.
The event goes on until April 4 at the Challenger Hall, IMPACT Muangthongthani.
