Changan Automobile has launched the NEVO Q05 electric SUV in Thailand, with introductory prices ranging from Bt599,900 to Bt679,900 for the first 3,000 units.
The Q05 was introduced under the concept “Chasing the Light”, with the new model being positioned as a new-generation intelligent electric SUV designed for modern consumers seeking convenience, technology and comfort in daily mobility.

According to Changan, the Q05 combines intelligent driving capabilities with contemporary styling, a spacious cabin and advanced connectivity features aimed at supporting increasingly digital lifestyles. Changan said the vehicle was developed to deliver a safer, smarter and more comfortable driving experience.
The Q05 is also offered with the “Nevo Care” package, which includes purchase, delivery, ownership and after-sales service benefits. Designed by renowned automotive designer Klaus Zyciora, the Q05 features an aerodynamic exterior, 18-inch alloy wheels and five body color options.
Inside, the SUV comes equipped with a 14.6-inch central touchscreen and a 10.17-inch digital instrument cluster supporting Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, intelligent voice control and over-the-air software updates.
The vehicle also includes a range of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), such as a 360-degree 3D surround-view camera, transparent chassis imaging and 360-degree recording functions. Smartphone app connectivity and a CATL battery supporting 3C fast charging — enabling charging from 30% to 80% in around 15 minutes — are also included.
Di Zhirui, chief executive of Changan, said the Nevo brand was developed to make advanced technology more accessible and relevant to consumers’ everyday lives.
“Nevo is not merely a new-energy vehicle brand. It is designed to connect technology more closely with people’s lifestyles and emotional needs,” he said.
He added that the brand concept — “New Evolution, New Vision, New Origin” — reflects the company’s commitment to creating mobility solutions that are convenient, intelligent and enjoyable to use.
Deng Zhitao, managing director of Changan Auto Sales (Thailand), said the Nevo brand has recorded cumulative sales of more than 500,000 units in China within three years. He noted that the Q05, alongside the A06 and Q07 models, ranks among the top three in their respective market segments.
The Q05 is the second model to be manufactured in Thailand following the Deepal S05. Mr Deng said Changan’s strategy extends beyond exports to developing a complete local automotive ecosystem covering research, manufacturing, supply chains and customer service.
The company currently operates a global research and development network across six countries and 10 cities, with 16 research centers, 17 technology companies and more than 18,000 engineers. Changan also operates 22 overseas manufacturing facilities, including its Rayong plant in Thailand, with combined production capacity exceeding 350,000 vehicles annually.
Chris Wu, vice-president of Changan Auto Sales (Thailand), described Thailand as the starting point for Nevo’s international expansion strategy.
“From Thailand, we plan to expand further into Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Europe and other key markets,” he said, adding that the Q05 was developed with Thai consumers’ preferences in mind from the outset.
Globally, Changan’s sales network spans 118 countries and regions, supported by more than 1,124 showrooms and service centers. The company said cumulative overseas sales have exceeded 637,000 vehicles, placing it among the leading Chinese automotive brands in 15 international markets.
In Thailand, Changan plans to add 11 new dealer showrooms nationwide during the second quarter, expanding from its current network of 54 locations, while also strengthening after-sales service capabilities.
Deliveries of the Q05 to Thai customers are scheduled to begin in June 2026. Customers among the first 3,000 deliveries made before June 30 will receive a special Nevo Care Upgrade package.
