    Audi expand EV line-up with S6 e-tron variants

    Audi Thailand has launched the performance-oriented S6 Avant e-tron quattro and the S6 Sportback e-tron quattro both priced at Bt5,899,000.

    The two new electric vehicles from Audi are powered by front and rear electric motors developing a combined 551 horsepower and 855Nm, catapulting the vehicles from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds to a top speed of 240km/h.

    Audi says that in terms of acceleration, the S6 e-tron models are almost as quick as the ICE-powered RS6 Avant high-performance sports wagon.

    Apart from the e-quattro all-wheel-drive system, there is also an adaptive air suspension specially developed for the S models provide a balance between grip and comfort.

    The S6 e-tron has a range of 647 kms (WLTP) for the Avant and 675 kms for the Sportback variant. Charging from 10-80 per cent via a DC charger takes 21 minutes.

    Highlights in the S6 e-tron models start with the switchable panoramic glass roof that comes with six configurations, powered front sports seats with waterfall stitching, dynamic interaction lighting effects (turning lights, charging, etc),  17-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, curved MMI panoramic display (11.9-in virtual cockpit + 14.5-in touch display + 10.9-in front passenger display), augmented head-up display, leather-upholstered sports steering wheel with shift paddles, bonnet gesture control, 27-liter frunk and courtesy lights for the rear kick gesture zone.

    There’s also a full ADAS package including adaptive cruise control (with stop and go), 360-degree camera and auto parking functions.
