Omoda has launched the 2026 C5 electric SUV that comes with a facelift and equipment update, including a smaller battery.
According to the Chinese automaker, the 2026 C5, which is assembled in Thailand, has been relegated to a lower market segment in order to find more customers.
As a result, the battery size has been reduced to 50.6kWh (compared to 58.9kWh for the 2024 C5 imported from China). This is mainly the reason (apart from slower charging capability and smaller driver display) that it could be priced at a competitive Bt709,000 (Bt649,000 with May 2026 promotion).
