Toyota has introduced the 2024 Corolla Cross featuring both exterior and interior upgrades plus increased safety across four variants.

The Corolla Cross was first launched in Thailand in 2020 with more than 70,000 units being sold up to date. For the 2024 model, Toyota plans to sell 1,500 units per month.

Exterior highlights include new multi-dimensional front grille, crystalized LED headlights with sequential LED turning lamps, tail lights, newly-designed front and rear bumpers, as well as new 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels.

All 2024 Corolla Cross variants get 10.1-inch HD center touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, USB Type-C, parking sensor, electronic parking brake with brake hold function.

Pricing starts at Bt999,000 for the 1.8 Sport Plus with the three hybrid variants retailing from Bt1,094,000 to Bt1,254,000.

The top variant in the 2024 Corolla Cross lineup is the HEV GR Sport that gets the complete options list which includes a panoramic glass roof, 360-degree camera, wireless charger, front and rear video camera recorder and 12.3-inch digital driver display.

It’s powered by a 122-hp hybrid powertrain consisting of a 1.8-litre petrol engine and an electric motor offering an average fuel economy of 23.3km/l and 98g/km of CO2 emission.

The lower Premium HEV variants lose the glass roof but do get the new “Dark Rose” interior and Toyota Safety Sense package.

Meanwhile, the 1.8 Sport Plus is powered by a 1.8-liter petrol engine capable of developing 140hp. It comes with several upgrades as mentioned, plus blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert.
