Mercedes-Benz has introduced the 2024 E-Class (W124) in Thailand and we took it out for a test drive!
The E 350e Plug-in Hybrid featured in this review, priced at Bt4.25 million, is undoubtedly the most advanced E-Class, if not the most high-tech Mercedes ever made.
The latest model from the German luxury carmaker comes with three-screen high-res display laid out across the console and a comprehensive infotainment package that includes AI-based features.
Power comes from a plug-in hybrid system featuring a turbocharged petrol engine mated to an electric motor, delivering a total output of 313hp and a whopping 550Nm of torque.
Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes 6.5 seconds and the top speed is claimed at 235km/h (140km/h in EV mode).
The 25.4kWh lithium-ion battery provides the car with an EV range of 100-120kms. But with the 50-liter fuel tank, it has a total range of 600-800kms, depending on how you drive it.
