Toyota is the market leader in Thailand with a nine-month aggregate of 167,800 units, claiming a market share of 37.5 per cent.
Sales of the Yaris ATIV, boosted by the new 2025 model, reached 40,202 units while sales of the Hilux Revo were 13,165 units. Toyota will launch the new Hilux Travo later this month and it will significantly help boost pickup truck sales for Toyota.
“The auto market in October is likely to remain stable as consumers are waiting for new sales campaigns at the upcoming Motor Expo at the end of the year. In addition, fluctuating oil prices and auto loan denials are still high, leading to lower consumer confidence and purchasing power.
