French cars have unique design and driving character, and the Peugeot 408 is no different.
In this review I drive the 408 Allure, which is the cheaper of the three variants offered in Thailand, priced at Bt1,549,000 (US$42,202).
Powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with 218hp and 300Nm, the 408 offers sporty performance as well as high comfort levels both front and rear.
It also comes with lots of technology, although you will have to learn how to cope with some discrepancies such as the octagonal steering wheel and complicated settings menu.
Nevertheless, if you’re fed up with German and Japanese cars, the Peugeot 408 will definitely provide you with a different experience that many fall in love with.
CORRECTION: The headlights are just standard LEDs and not Matrix Beam with Auto Highbeam Assist which is offered in the top GT variant.
