MG has become the first automaker in Thailand to offer a lifetime warranty for the battery, electric drive unit and control unit in its electric vehicles.
In addition, the offer is not limited to the first owner nor mileage, covering both current and new customers, the company announced in a press release.

MG currently has four electric models in Thailand – MG4 Electric, Maxus 7, Maxus 9 and Cyberster.
Pongsak Lertruedeewattanavong, vice president of distributor MG Sales (Thailand) Co Ltd, said, “By continuously opening new EV frontiers, MG has introduced a wide variety of products that fully respond to the needs and requirement of drivers.”
He added that MG has been successful in expanding its EV sales volume in Thailand, with the MG4 achieving an 84-per cent growth year-on-year while the Cyberster sports roadster has won over 1,000 bookings.
“The company also gears towards the development of product and quality that comes with more affordable pricing,” he added. “Besides, MG also pays attention to all aspects of electric vehicles. The announcement on the extended lifetime warranty for high-voltage battery, electric drive unit and power electronic bloc is considered as MG’s momentous movement in celebration of our 100th anniversary as the global brand that steps into the second decade of business operations in Thailand.”
