Mazda is inviting Thai boys and girls aged between 12-19 years old to participate in the qualifying rounds of the Mazda U.S. College Prep Junior Golf Championship 2024 in order to find the best junior golfers to compete alongside international peers in the final round featuring 128 participants from worldwide.

The project aims to identify and promote talented young golfers in Thailand to the global stage, with the winner of the final competition to be sponsored for participation in several major tournaments in the US. Talented youth golfers also have the opportunity to receive scholarships to pave the way towards a professional golfing career.

Meanwhile, Mazda is also inviting customers to participate in the Mazda Exclusive Tournament 2024 at Alpine Golf Club on October 4. The tournament is open to 64 Mazda owners in order to strengthen relationships between the company and customers.

Thee Permpongpanth, executive vice president of Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co Ltd, said, “The Mazda U.S. College Prep Junior Championship 2024 project is driven by Mazda’s inspiration to support the dreams of young golf enthusiasts. This initiative provides them the opportunity to show their full potential on the world-class competition stage. These efforts embody the challenger spirit inherent in every athlete, reflecting Mazda’s core philosophy that has never faltered of any challenge and continuously pushing forward beyond boundaries.”

“Mazda believes in the potential of talented Thai individuals, who are on par with those from any nation in the world,” he added. “Mazda aims to empower Thai youth with opportunities to shine in the world of sports, aspiring to become world-class professional golfers and bring prestige back to Thailand.”
