Isuzu has given its D-MAX pickup truck lineup a minor change for 2025-2026, coming with both exterior design upgrades and increased equipment level.

The update covers 33 D-MAX variants and although the Mu-X does not get cosmetic changes, there are additional features included for the new model year.

The top D-MAX variant is the V-Cross 4×4 that now comes with a redesigned multi-layer front grille. There are also new LED headlights and clear-lens tail lights, along with a new Inishmore Gray Opaque body color and 18-inch matt black alloy wheels.

The V-Cross also gets an electric power steering, resulting in four more ADAS steering wheel features being added. A 360-degree camera with front and rear underbody views has also been thrown in for good measure.

The X-Series also gets the new 2.2-liter diesel turbo with 8-speed automatic gearbox, along with sporty all-round exterior treatment.

The Mu-X, meanwhile, is fitted with STIFF FLEX dampers in all variants, offering improved ride and handling. The 2.2-liter variant also gets 360-degree camera with underbody views.

Meanwhile, Isuzu has invested over Bt100 million to transform its “Isuzu 4×4 Land” offroad facility into the “Isuzu 4×4 Experience” course, in collaboration with nendo, a world-class design studio from Japan.

The 9 Test Stations

V-Curve: Alternating hills that test the suspension’s softness and travel range. The undulating ceiling increases the pressure while driving.

Rugged Route: A rough, rugged path that draws out the excellent performance of the suspension, helping you pass through a compression wall.

High Hill: A steep, sky-high hill with an incline of over 40 degrees, pushing the engine’s torque to the absolute limit. It’s as thrilling as climbing a 6-story building.

New! Haunted Tunnel: A quarry-style tunnel with overhead lanterns that create driving pressure, testing suspension performance and steering control.

Rock Canal: An extremely tough rocky stream that proves your ability to drive through deep water and floating buoys, requiring precise steering control.

Water Cliff: A cascading waterfall-like hill that tests vehicle control and torque on a slippery and steep obstacle with soaring lines.

Zigzag U-Shape: A narrow, U-shaped zigzag path that tests vehicle control when climbing in a confined space, with added challenges from overhead lines.

New! Mystery Road: A mysterious route where you must keep the vehicle on a path with grooves under the vehicle, while also testing the under-vehicle view with the 360° Surround View Camera.

Side Slope: A 40-degree inclined slope that tests vehicle control on a sideways climb, with obstacles that challenge both the limits of the vehicle and your own.
