Geely Riddara has strengthened its leading position in the NEV pickup truck market in Thailand with a market share of 85 per cent.

The Chinese automaker sold 1,396 vehicles in Thailand during the first seven months of this year, which is 84 per cent higher than what is sold during the whole of 2025.

Akira Nisapakul, Sales Director of Geely Riddara Thailand, said the brand achieved outstanding results in the highly-competitive Thai double-cab pickup truck market in 2026.

“In June and July this year, Geely Riddara also became the fourth best-selling brand in the Thai double-cab pickup truck market,” Akira said.

He said Geely Riddara is capitalizing on the growth momentum by expanding its product lineup, forming a portfolio of 3 ECON variants and 4 RD6 variants.

During Q3 and Q4, GEELY RIDDARA plans to expand both retail and fleet customer bases, as well as growing its dealer networks particularly in provincial markets around Thailand.

GEELY RIDDARA currently has 29 dealerships in Thailand, with eight being in Bangkok Metropolitan Region and 21 in upcountry. The company plans to increase the number of dealerships and service centers to 40 within the end of 2026.

At the BIG Motor Sale 2026 at BITEC, Riddara is showing off the new ECON L variant, which comes with an extended pickup bed (240mm), giving it increased carrying capacity of 1,380 liters, which is comparable to spacecab pickup trucks.

The Riddara ECON L is available in both 2WD and 4WD versions, with the following pricing:
