FUCHS LUBRICANTS (THAILAND) is celebrating its 40th anniversary in Thailand — the company is a subsidiary of Germany-based FUCHS, considered as a leading global lubrication manufacturer.
FUCHS offers lubricant products for various sectors, including automotive, transportation, food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, medical devices, energy, manufacturing and OEM. The company also focuses on sustainability, driven by R&D and the creation of shared value across the industrial value chain, according to Manuel Seger, managing director of FUCHS LUBRICANTS (THAILAND) Co Ltd.

He said the parent company was established 94 years ago, while the Thai subsidiary was founded in 1985—making it the third FUCHS entity in Southeast Asia.
“Over the past 40 years, FUCHS has played a pivotal role in supporting businesses and industries of all sizes in Thailand by offering top-tier lubricant solutions, backed by a global R&D team that makes up 10 per cent of its workforce. This investment ensures the delivery of the most effective products and services tailored to customers’ needs,” Seger said.
Seger attributes part of the success to regional strength and collaboration with global teams, which has enabled strategic expansion such as new production sites, raw material partnerships and streamlined manufacturing processes.
“Our innovations begin with a deep understanding of customer problems and requirements. That’s why we are confident that our products and services are not only the best, but also the most relevant,” said Seger.
“While technology may be intangible, it solves visible challenges — such as maintaining lubricant quality despite extreme temperature fluctuations, developing food-grade lubricants that meet strict health standards or creating products that extend machinery uptime and reduce maintenance costs. Our solutions for Automotive applications are tailored to evolving vehicle types — with conventional as well as electric drivelines, and we also offer solutions customized to specific industry needs.”
He added that FUCHS aims to expand its footprint in all of the sectors in Thailand, industrial as well as automotive, while strengthening its after-sales service and technical consulting capabilities.
