In an effort to accelerate year-end sales, Rever Automotive Co Ltd, the distributor of BYD and Denza brands in Thailand, is extending special discounts for lifetime warranty package consisting of high-voltage battery, drive motor and PDC components until the end of the year.
According to a press release from the company, BYD customers making purchases within the remaining this this year (Dec 31) can pay just Bt5,000 for the lifetime warranty package (original price Bt50,000) while Denza buyers also get a discount, paying just Bt10,000 for the Bt100,000 package.
This particular promotion was originally launched at the recently-concluded 2025 Motor Expo, and is continued to be offered until the end of the year.
After the EV 3.0 scheme ends on December 31, the BYD Dolphin and ATTO 3 would no longer receive a Bt150,000 subsidy, which is reduced to Bt50,000.
The BYD Seal, M6 and Sealion 7, as well as the Denza D9, will lose the Bt75,000 government support, but also suffer from higher excise tax of 10 per cent (up from two per cent).
Meanwhile, Rever Automotive has officially announced that it received a total of 7,615 orders at the 2025 Motor Expo. While the BYD booth initially displayed sales of over 10,000 orders for the duration of the event, the number has been lowered in the official press release from the company.
The company stated in a press release that the Sealion 7 was the top BYD model this year with 3,853 orders placed, followed by the Dolphin (1,189) and Sealion 6 DM-i (863).
