Suzuki is planning to stimulate sales in Thailand this year with the official launch of the Fronx subcompact SUV.
The new model will play an important role in helping Suzuki achieve its sales target of 8,000 units in the Thai market for 2025, an increase of 41 per cent compared to last year.

The Fronx is imported from Indonesia as Suzuki is shutting down its Thai production facility due to falling sales during the past five years. The Japanese automaker currently has 86 showrooms in Thailand with 47 body and paint repair facilities.
There are three trim levels — GL (Bt689,000), GLX (Bt749,000) and GLX Plus (Bt799,0000).
The exterior design of the Fronx combines coupe and SUV styling, with eye-catching split-design lamps and aggressive front grille.

A floating roof design and black double fenders give the Fronx an attractive side profile while at the rear, the LED tail lights are connected by a light strip across the tail gate.

Meanwhile, the interior features a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless apple CarPlay, multi-function steering wheel, wireless phone charger and rear air vents

The GL is powered by the K15B 1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with 105ps and 138Nm while the GLX and GLX Plus gets the improved K15C engine with mild hybrid technology from an integrated starter generator system with 101ps and 135Nm. The transmission is superior in the mild hybrid variants, with six speeds (includes paddle shifters) compared to the conventional four-speed box in the GL.

The front McPherson strut suspension with stabilizer is paired up with a rear torsion beam suspension. The wheelbase is just 2,520mm, allowing for a tight turning radius of 4.8 meters.
The top GLX Plus variant features a good level of equipment including ADAS package, high beam assist, head-up display and 360-degree camera.

Suzuki Motor Thailand is offering a special promotion for customers placing orders for the Fronx from September 25 to December 31. The package includes 1.99-per cent interest, free insurance and three-year 24-hour emergency service.
There’s also a seven-year “Worry Free” maintenance package with fees starting at Bt27,999.
