Nissan has updated its Navara 1-ton pickup truck lineup in Thailand along with introducing three new entry-grade variants in order to make it more accessible to a larger number of buyers.
The new variants are the King Cab Calibre SL 7AT (Bt758,000), Double Cab Calibre SL 6MT (Bt792,000), and Double Cab Calibre SL 7AT (Bt842,000).
All three feature bold black front grille, body-colored bumper with black finisher, as well as 17-inch wheels.
The King Cab Calibre SL 7AT and Double Cab Calibre SL 7AT are powered by the twin-turbo diesel engine producing 190ps and 450Nm, while the Double Cab Calibre SL 6MT comes with a 160ps diesel powerplant with 403Nm.
The suspension system features independent double-wishbone with coil springs and a front stabilizer bar, along with leaf-spring setup with rear shock absorbers.
Nissan says that front ventilated disc brakes and rear drum brakes in the Navara provide reliable stopping power under heavy loads.
The new grades are equipped with Hill Start Assist, ABS with EBD and BA, dual front airbags, Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS), Trailer Stability Assist (TSA), rear defogger, high-mount stop lamp (LED type) and ELR 3-point seatbelts with pretensioners and load limiters.
All new grades are also equipped with cruise control, a push start button, and an intelligent key.
Body colors include Black Star, White Pearl, Brilliant Silver, Twilight Grey, and Forged Copper.
Nissan is offering a special promotion for the three new Navara variants. The promotion includes monthly installment starting from Bt4,999 or a special interest rate starting from 0.89 per cent with first-class insurance (NPP), or a down payment starting from Bt19,999 with up to 84-month installment plans (Terms and conditions apply).
