Isuzu Thailand has recently launched the 2025 MU-X and in this video, we review the 3.0 RS two-wheel-drive variant priced at Bt1,659,000.
The new pickup-based SUV from Isuzu features sporty RS exterior design with lots of glossy black garnishing as well as aggressive 20-inch wheels, although the RS badging does not mean added performance.
Nevertheless the 3.0-liter turbo diesel pumps out decent 190ps and 450Nm, and is mated to a smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission.
The MU-X 3.0 RS comes with a large number of features along with a highly-comfortable suspension setting that will appeal to Thai buyers.
It also comes with a full ADAS package including autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist, rear cross traffic braking and adaptive cruise control, but users may experience some glitches from the overly-sensitive system in day-to-day driving.
The interior offers upgraded luxury compared to the D-MAX pickup it is based on, with more soft-touch areas, 360-degree camera, 9-inch center display, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, powered front seats and walk-away door locks.
