Tesla has further reduced the pricing of its Model 3, with the baseline Standard RWD variant starting at just Bt1.149 million.
The Model 3 is imported from China and with the new pricing, is the cheapest it has ever been in the Thai market.
This could be a great opportunity for the American EV brand to expand its presence in Thailand, as popular Chinese electric cars are bound to become more expensive due to lower government subsidies as Thailand shifts from EV3.0 to EV3.5 scheme starting this year.
The Thai-spec Model 3 Standard is powered by a single electric motor driving the rear wheels with 279 horsepower and 420Nm, propelling the car from 0-100km/h in 6.2 seconds towards a top speed of 201km/h.

According to Tesla Thailand the Model 3 Standard will cover 534kms on a single charge (175kW DC Max).
The body is 4,720mm and 2,089mm wide, featuring panoramic glass roof and 18-inch Prismata wheels. Inside, there’s a 15.4-inch touchscreen (no driver display) while seats come with leather/fabric upholstery and are adjustable through the center screen.

The audio system features seven loudspeakers and the baseline Model 3 also comes with Autopilot function including Autosteer (lane-keeping) as well as Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go.
