Chinese automaker NETA has commenced deliveries of the NETA X for customers in Thailand after the official launch on July 25.
More than 1,000 orders have been placed for the new electric SUV model within 72 hours, according to distributor Neta Auto (Thailand).
The NETA X is available in two trim levels and modern features including ADAS 2.0. The Comfort variant priced at Bt739,000 has a 51.8kWh lithium-ion battery providing a range of 401kms NEDC (315kms WLTP) while the Smart variant priced at Bt799,000 features a larger 62kWh battery offering a range of 480kms NEDC (377kms WLTP).
Shu Gangzhi, general manager of NETA Auto (Thailand) Co Ltd, said, “With 1,000 orders placed within 72 hours, this proves our understanding of the requirements of the Thai consumers as well as our potential in offering them the right product — an electric vehicle with the latest technology and affordable pricing. This is in line with NETA’s core mission to create equal access to technology for everyone.”
“Interested customers can still place orders and receive special offers during this launch period at all official distributors nationwide,” he added.
The offers are valid through the end of August. They include the following:
- First-class insurance
- NETA Wallbox inclusive of installation fee
- 3 years in-car internet service
- 5-year/150,000km warranty
- 8-year/180,000km battery warranty
- 5-year 24-hour emergency service
The NETA X is available for customer test drives at the BIG Motor Sales as well as at the NETA Roadshow in August at the following venues:
- Central Phitsanulok August 16-22
- BIG Motor Sale August 23 to September 1
- Central Udon Thani August 23 to September 1
- Fashion Island August 20 to September 8
