MG Thailand has announced the official pricing of its new MG3 Hybrid+ model, available in two variants.

The introductory price for the locally-assembled MG3 Hybrid + D and X variants are Bt559,900 and Bt599,900 respectively for the first 1,000 units. After the initial lot is completed, prices will be raised to Bt579,900-619,9000.

Xu Yin, President of MG Sales (Thailand), said, “ This is the first time MG has released a new product in a nationwide launch event initially at Siam Square One in Bangkok as a central stage for official price announcement. Follow-up regional launches will be held at Central Chiangmai Airport, The Mall Korat and Central Festival Hat Yai.”

“Every launch stage has its own perks and follow-up events so interested customers can have their first-hand experiences of the new MG3 HYBRID+, which will also be available on display and for test drives at the BIG MOTOR SALE 2024 as well as 150 MG dealerships later this month,” he added.

The MG3 Hybrid+ is powered by a hybrid system with eight drive modes, including full electric up to 80km/h, offering a total output of 136hp and class-leading 250Nm of torque. It can propel the car from 0-100km/h in eight seconds (80-120km/h acceleration takes five seconds)

It comes with three-stage KERS, automatic hybrid transmission and a 1.83kWh cell-to-pack lithium battery allowing the car to cover as much as 800kms on a single tank of fuel.

There’s a 7-inch driver display and 10.25-inch center touchscreen (with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto) along with an advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) including autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and 360-degree camera. A smart key system allows drivers to remotely start the engine.

Suspension comprises of a front strut and rear torsion beam setup while stopping power comes from disc brakes all-round.

The new MG subcompact has a length of 4,113mm and comes with a 2,570mm wheelbase, which is 58mm and 50mm longer than its predecessor respectively. The new model is also 68mm wider, resulting in more cabin space.
