Toyota has launched the teaser for the 2026 Hilux Travo pickup truck, which will make its World Premiere in Thailand on November 10.
The new Toyota truck will come with a 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine along with an electric powertrain, while the 2.4-liter diesel is expected to be added to the lineup in 2026. Bodystyles will include single cab, space cab and double cab, but the launch will feature only high-floor models with raised suspension, according to headlightmag.com, which also stated that the Travo BEV will be powered by two electric motors driving all four wheels.
The website also stated that despite the introduction of the new Hilux Travo, the Hilux Revo Z Edition variants will still be offered in 2026, along with the Champ, which is another Hilux derivative.
The Travo is built on the IMV2 platform rather than the new TNGA-F, but comes with an all-new design (including the cabin) as well as a large number of technical improvements over the Revo.
