Honda has released details of the 2024 Civic minor change and is accepting customer pre-bookings starting today.

The Civic is the most popular compact car in Thailand, being ranked number one in sales for the past eight years.

The official pricing for the three 2024 Civic variants will be announced on August 23, and will range from approximately Bt1.03 million to Bt1.23 million, according to distributor Honda Automobile (Thailand).

All three variants (e:HEV RS, e:HEV EL+ and EL+) will come with Honda Sensing as standard while additional features include built-in Google app and services, Bose audio system with 12 speakers, 60-40 split-folding rear seat backrests and rear air vents.

In terms of styling, the updated Civic gets a new front grille and bumper along with new LED tail lights with black lens. The RS comes with matt black 18-inch wheels while the EL+ gets 17-inch wheels.

The cabin features black styling with the RS coming with black suede/synthetic leather and red stitching as well as red accents on the console and door panels. Meanwhile, the other two variants come with leather/synthetic leather upholstery.

Hybrid variants feature an Individual Mode drive setting as well as new parking sensor package (four at the front and four at the rear).

All variants come with four USB-C ports, 9-inch center touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto with Siri and Android voice control systems, and Honda CONNECT.

The hybrid variants are powered by a 2.0-liter engine and electric motor offering a total output of 184 horsepower and 315Nm of torque, along with an average fuel economy of 25km/l.

The EL+ is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged VTEC engine developing 178 horsepower and 240Nm of torque from 1,700rpm right up to 4,500rpm. The average fuel economy is claimed at 17.2km/liter.

Honda recently announced that it will cease vehicle assembly at its Ayutthaya plant due to falling sales in Thailand and use the site for parts production. Assembly of all Honda models in Thailand will take place at its Prachin Buri plant.
