This is one of the last Mercedes-AMG C 43 Coupes to be powered by a bi-turbo V6 as the next model will come with a hybrid powerplant.
Priced at Bt5.1 million, the C 43 4MATIC Coupe Special Edition is powered by a 3.0-liter bi-turbo V6 capable of pumping out 390hp at 6,100rpm and 520Nm from 2,500-5,000rpm.
Acceleration from 0-100km/h is claimed at 4.7 seconds and it’s capable of hitting a top speed of 250km/h.
The Special Edition car also comes with the Night Package that includes upgrades such as AMG Performance steering wheel, black 19-inch AMG wheels and black exhaust tips.
We had a chance to drive this remarkable car at the this year’s Mercedes Benz Driving Event (MBDE) held at the world-famous Chang International Circuit in Buriram province.
Apart from powerful acceleration, the C 43 also provided us with an adrenaline-pumping soundtrack from the AMG Performance exhaust system as well as loads of cornering grip courtesy of the AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.
