Volvo will launch its first electric vehicle, the XC40 Recharge, at the Bangkok Motor Show later this month.
The XC40 Recharge comes with a 78kWh lithium-ion battery, offering a range of 400 kilometers. It can be charged 80 per cent within 40 minutes, according to Volvo.

Total output from the dual-motor system is claimed at 408hp with a whopping 660Nm of torque delivered to all four wheels.
The performance figures are 0-100km/h in 4.9 seconds and 180km/h top speed.
Volvo is also giving away free wall box chargers for all models (EV and PHEV) offered at the Bangkok Motor Show, apart from other sales promotions.
