Ford has launched sporty versions of its Ranger pickup and Everest PPV.
The American auto maker said the Ranger FX4 and Everest Sport both come with special add-ons and smart features.
Ford Ranger FX4
The Ranger FX4, priced at Bt919,000, boasts a tougher look and outstanding features, with a new front grille, additional decals along the doors and 3D badge on the tailgate.
It comes with 18-inch black alloy wheels, black rear bumpers and a black sports bar.
The interior features high gloss finishes, “Race Red” stitchting on leather upholstery..
The Ranger FX4 also comes with the new SYNC infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility including a new 8.0-inch full color touchscreen supporting video files and Emergency Assistance.
The 2.2-liter Duratorq diesel engine produces 160 horsepower and 385Nm, and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Ford Everest Sport
The Everest Sport, priced at Bt1,469,000, features improved styling details, including black elements on the front grill, side mirrors and roof rails, rear and side ‘SPORT’ decals, black rear bumper and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, there’s blue stitching and SPORT embossed leather seats in addition to the Hydrographic application interior trims..
It is also equipped with standard Everest Titanium features, including LED Projector Headlamp with LED Daytime Running Light, LED taillight, Auto Head Lamp and Rain Sensing Wipers and Hand-Free Power Liftgate.
The 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine pumps out 180 horsepower and 420Nm of torque, and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Ford is offering introductory special promotions for interested customers who book and take delivery by December 31, 2019 with special pricing of Bt.1,399,000 for Everest Sport and Bt.899,000 for Ranger FX4.
