The 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is now available for customer orders, with the S 350 d being offered in two trim levels.
The S 350 d, powered by a 3.0-liter turbo diesel engine, is available in two trim levels – the Exclusive priced at Bt6.69 million and AMG Premium priced at Bt7.19 million.

The initial announcement for the new S-Class was made at the end of May this year, but the official launch event had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 surge in Thailand.
Roland Folger, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Co Ltd, said, “The new S-Class” is the ultimate luxury saloon that provides the best driving experience in terms of luxury, comfort and safety. The S-Class has always been the best-selling luxury saloon both in the global market and in Thai market. With this new model, under the integration of the most advanced automotive innovations that put focus on user, every detail of this vehicle’s design is meticulously refined.”

Folger said in terms of wireless connectivity experience, Mercedes-Benz has partnered with the local 4G LTE service provider in Thailand.
“Only S-Class customers who purchase a Mercedes-Benz vehicle with our authorized dealers to be able to have the best driving experience on every road,” he added.
The S 350 d is powered by a 3.0-liter diesel engine with dual-stage turbochargers capable of producing 286hp and 600Nm, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes 6.4 seconds and the top speed is claimed at 250km/h.
The interior is highlighted by the 12.3-inch high-res instrument cluster and 12.8-inch OLED touchscreen featuring MBUX7 interface (operates via voice, touch or gesture) and fingerprint recognition.

The rear seats are of high importance in a saloon like the S-Class – they come with electric adjustment as well as six massage functions.
There’s also an MBUX high-end rear seat entertainment with a 7-inch tablet-type touchscreen, plus two 11.6-inch displays and a 15-speaker Burmester sound system.
The rear passengers also get frontal airbags for the first time in the 2021 S-Class. Meanwhile, the intelligent safety systems are more intelligent than ever (for example Evasive Steering Assist and Emergency Stop Assist systems).
