Volkswagen will unveil the eighth-generation Golf hatchback at the world premiere in Wolfsburg on October 24, the German automaker announced.
VW said the new model features more digitalisation and connectivity than ever before, packed with innovations and sporting a highly expressive design.

“In the new model, the strengths that have made the Golf a worldwide bestseller have been further perfected,” VW said in a press release.
According to VW, there will be a range of powerplants available, while the suspension comes with high agility. The new Golf will also be highly digitalised and come with a connectivity-oriented interior, with assisted driving features and online-based functions and services being available.

Design-wise the new Golf will appear more dynamic than its predecessor, and feature a new digital cockpit. For the European market, it will go on sale in December.
