A total of 35 automobile brands and 17 motorcycle brands are showing off their latest products at the 39th Thailand International Motor Expo.
Being held during the final month of the year, the Motor Expo marks the year-end car-buying season in Thailand, with various brands launching new models and offering a large number of sales promotions.

A larger number of hybrid and electric vehicles are present at the show this year, reflecting the rising popularity of eco-friendly vehicles that enjoy special tax breaks from the Thai government, resulting in attractive pricing. In Thailand, EVs get as much as Bt150,000 government subsidy.
For example, the MG4 EV that has just been launched retails from Bt869,000 for the base model to Bt969,000 for the X trim. The MG4 has a 51kWh battery with a range of 425kms in NEDC cycle (335kms in WLTP). More than 1,500 orders were placed for the MG4 during the first eight hours of launch last month.

Other notable EVs that are currently on sale at the Motor Expo are the Audi e-tron GT quattro Performance (Bt6,999,000), BMW i7 xDrive60 M Sport Gran Lusso (Bt8,599,000), BYD ATTO 3 (Bt1,199,900), Neta V (Bt549,000), ORA Good Cat GT (Bt1,286,000), Mercedes-EQS 500 4MATIC AMG Premium (Bt7,900,000) and Volvo C40 Recharge (Bt2,690,000).

A good number of high-performance cars are also present, such as the Audi RS3 Sportback quattro (Bt5,399,000), BMW M4 Competition M xDrive Coupe 50 Jahre Edition (Bt10,499,000), Honda Civic Type-R (not for sale), Lamborghini Urus Performante (Bt25,490,000), Maserati Grecale GT (Bt6,490,000), Mercedes-Benz SL 43 (Bt11,700,000), Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS (Bt15,800,000) and Toyota GR Corolla (Bt3,949,900).
