After staging the Thailand premiere of the SF90 Stradale via a live stream event on May 28, Ferrari is taking the same approach once again with the Roma, which will be introduced to Thai buyers tomorrow (June 10).

According to official Ferrari importer Cavallino Motors, live streaming will also be adopted for the official launch of the Roma, which takes place at 14.00hrs on June 10 via the company’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/cavallinoferrarithailand.

The Roma features classical Ferrari design from the 50s and 60s, which explains the “La Nuova Dolce Vita” slogan of the new model.

The turbocharged V8 powerplant in the Roma is capable of pumping out 620 horsepower (Ferrari claims it’s the most powerful in its segment).

The new V8 turbo is also “part of the family of engines that has won the overall International Engine of the Year award four years running”.

There’s a Variable Boost Management system that eliminates turbo lag, as well as an 8-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) that was first introduced on the SF90 Stradale, offering quicker and smoother shifts.

Ferrari said that the Roma has been engineered to offer extremely high performance on the highway, yet is comfortable enough to be driven in the city.

The Roma comes with a starting price of over Bt20 million (US$637,500).
