Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster

Mercedes-AMG has launched the 2019 minor change version of its GT C roadster and 4-door GT 63 S 4-MATIC+, priced at Bt17.19 million (US$564,977) and 14.99 million (US$492,670) respectively.
The 2019 GT C roadster is powered by a direct-injection, bi-turbo V8 engine mated to a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. The 3,982cc powerplant develops 557hp from 5,750-6,750rpm and 680Nm of torque from 2,100-5,500rpm.

Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes 3.7 seconds, and the claimed top speed is 316km/h.
According to Mercedes-AMG, wider rear wings allow improved traction and higher cornering speeds as they provide for a wider track and wider wheels at the rear axle.

The three-layered fabric soft top is supported by a lightweight magnesium/steel/aluminum structure. The fabric roof opens and closes in approximately 11 seconds, at speeds of up to 50 km/h.
There’s a 12.3-inch digital instrument display behind the multi-function steering wheel, as well as AMG performance seats that are more heavily contoured. At the center console is a 10.15-inch display for the COMAND Online operating system, placed below four very large circular air vents that make you think of jet fighters.

The AMG Drive Unit at the center has eight tiny display screens embedded into the chrome center tunnel that also gets carbon kevlar and leather treatment.
Mercedes-AMG says that the suspension setup also offers rear axle steering. Below 100km/h, the rear wheels are turned in the opposite direction to the front wheels, to give higher agility while requiring less input. Above 100km/h, the turn the same direction as the front pair, to improve handling stability.

Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC+

Meanwhile, the GT 63 S 4MATIC+ four-door coupe inherits design traits from the legendary SLS and AMG GT. It comes with electrically-extending rear aerofoil, powered sunroof and AMG high-performance composite braking, 20-inch 5-spoke wheels.

Inside, there are two 12.3-inch displays, Burmester high-end audio system, AMG performance seats and lots of leather.

Power also comes from a 3,982cc bi-turbo V8, but the output has been raised to 639hp from 5,500-6,500rpm and a whopping 900Nm of torque from 2,500-4,500rpm. It gets from 0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds and hits a top speed of 315km/h.
