BMW has announced the launching of the M340i xDrive, the first M Performance model to be assembled at its Rayong plant.

According to a release from BMW Thailand, the M340i xDrive will be available for pre-booking on March 3 from 3:40PM onwards. The first 20 customers placing a pre-booking via shop.bmw.co.th will receive an exclusive Bt120,000 interior kit comprising of stainless steel pedals, floormat, interior trim carbon, and Alcantara steering wheel.

Priced at Bt3.999 million, the new model boasts a turbocharged 3.0-litre straight six engine delivering 387hp and 500Nm. Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes 4.4 seconds thanks to an all-wheel-drive system and 8-speed automatic with sporty shifts.

There is Launch Control, along with M Sport Differential and M Sport Brakes with blue-painted calipers.
The M340i also gets an Adaptive M suspension with electronic dampers and Variable Sport Steering.

The interior highlights include a digital 12.3-inch instrument display plus a 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation, M Sport steering wheel, headup display and powered sunroof.
