Vroom Thailand is launching the BAJAJ motorcycle brand from India for the first time in Thailand.
The company is present at this year’s Bangkok International Motor Show at Muangthong Thani with three motorcycle brands – KTM, Husqvarna and BAJAJ.
BAJAJ models offered in Thailand include the BAJAJ Pulsar NS 160, BAJAJ Pulsar NS 200 FI ABS, BAJAJ Pulsar RS 200 FI ABS and BAJA Dominar 400.

Hideki Yanagisawa, president of Vroom Co Ltd, the sole distributor of KTM, Husqvarna and BAJAJ motorcycles in Thailand, said, “After launching the BAJAJ brand prior to the Bangkok Motor Show, the company also has plans to officially introduce two world-class brands namely KTM and Husqvarna. This is to respond to demand from Thai customers, especially those who are passionate about sports and adventure motorcycles.”

“This year the world is facing the Covid-19 pandemic and sales have plunged, but we are still confident that the situation will gradually improve, and it will take time to fully recover,” he added. “We see the opportunity and customer demand in these type of motorcycles. Sports bikes are still in demand and all our three brands should receive strong response from customers. This is the chance for BAJAJ to penetrate the sports motorcycle market in Thailand.”
Warot Kamolchotiros, vice president of Vroom Co Ltd, said the company is determined in building up the three motorcycle brands in the Thai market.

“We have set up brand-building strategies and aggressive business policies in order to build up the three brands through the 3S standard consisting of Sales, Service and Spare parts,” he said.
Vroom now has a total of 19 dealerships in the country covering Bangkok and all four regions – Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phitsanulok, Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Mukdaharn, Ubon Ratchathani, Mahasarakham, Lop Buri and Songkhla.
“More dealerships are already being planned for 2021, along with more new product launches on a regular basis. In addition we are also developing our after sales service in order to ensure maximum customer satisfaction,” Mr. Warot said.
Customers can also visit the BAJAJ Flagship Store at Ladprao Soi 122 to test ride and place orders for the Pulsar and Dominar models, he added.
