Audi is hoping to win a large number of customers with the attractively-priced Q3 and Q3 Sportback at the upcoming Motor Expo at the end of this month.
The Q3 35 TFSI is priced at Bt2,299,000 (US$75,800) and the Q3 35 TFSI S line is priced at Bt2,499,000 ($82,366), while the Q3 Sportback 35 TFSI S line retails at Bt2,649,000 ($87,368), Audi Thailand CEO Grisnagorn Sawettanant told Thai media at the unveiling in Khaoyai.

Although many of the components are different in the Q3 and Q3 Sportback, particularly the bodywork, they share some important highlights inside.
Both are powered by a 1.4-liter 4-cylinder, 16-valve direct-injection turbocharged engine capable of pumping out 150ps at 5,000-6,000rpm and 250Nm from 1,500-3,500rpm. The transmission is a 6-speed S tronic automatic, allowing both to accelerate from 0-100km/h in about 9.3 seconds. The top speed is claimed at 207km/h.

The Q3 being offered is the second-generation model that comes with enlarged dimensions. It is as much as 93mm longer than its predecessor (with 77mm longer wheelbase) and is 18mm wider.

The front end features a large octagon grille and slimline LED headlights, while the tailgate is electrically-powered – Audi claims there is as much as 530 to 1,525 liters of luggage space available.

Apart from backrest inclination, the second-row seat cushion can be slid back and forth by 15mm.
Audi says that younger customers will be delighted at the Q3 Sportback, with its raked D-pillar that not only looks sporty but also has aerodynamics benefits.

The S line trim features sporty black beehive front grille, Manhattan grey lower body, sports seats (both are electrically-powered), foldable rear seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, Audi smartphone interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Audi is offering 5-year/150,000km warranty and 5-year 24-hour Roadside Assistance for all models, apart from special promotions for selected models such as the TT, A8 L and Q8.
