The BIMS kicks off next week, with the VIP and Media days being scheduled for March 22 and 23 respectively. Public days are from March 24 to April 4.

Since its introduction in 2020, the MC20 has won numerous awards, including the “Most beautiful supercar of the year 2021” at the Festival Automobile International in Paris and the “Super Sports Car of the Year” at the GQ Car Awards 2021 in London.

The 4.6-meter supercar is powered by a F1-derived 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine capable of producing up to 630hp and 730Nm. Acceleration from 0-100k,/h takes 2.9 seconds and the top speed is claimed at 325km/h. This is the first Maserati-built engine in 20 years, and features the MTC (Maserati Twin Combustion) technology.

There are 5 driving modes (GT, Wet, Sport, Corsa and ESC Off) as well as lunch control.

The suspension comprises of double wishbones with stabilizers both front and rear (with 380mm and 350mm ventilated disc brakes respectively). Wheels are 20-inch alloys wearing 245/35 tires in front and wider 305/30 tires at the rear.

Massive use of carbon fiber has kept the weight of the MC20 down to less than 1,500kgs, allowing it to achieve a best-in-class weight-horsepower ratio of 2.33kg/hp.

The cockpit features minimalist styling, with a 10-inch digital dashboard and center touchscreen featuring Maserati Touch Control Plus.
