MG is staging a special campaign featuring the MG4 Electric Powerpuff Girls Edition in an effort to attract younger buyers to its electric car portfolio.
Buyers of the MG4 Electric will receive a free Powerpuff Girls bag and T-shirt during the promotional period from June to July 2024.
According to distributor MG Sales (Thailand) Co Ltd, the MG4 Electric Powerpuff Girls promotion consists of all three variants of the MG4 Electric, featuring different Powerpuff Girls characters. They include Bubbles (Standard Range), Blossom (Long Range) and Buttercup (XPower).
MG Sales (Thailand) vice president Pongsak L. Wattavong said the collaboration, with Cartoon Network and Boomerang 89, is targeted at expanding the brand’s EV customer base to the younger generation.
“We also want to create something new and exciting for the automobile market, as well as celebrating the 100th anniversary of the MG brand,” he said.
MG also staged a caravan with the special edition cars mapping through commercial and trendy districts of Bangkok to stir up interest, with Powerpuff Girls fan club members also showing up to check out the special vehicles.
