The Toyota Yaris ATIV subcompact sedan has been voted as the 2022 Thailand Car of the Year (TCOTY) by the Thai Automotive Journalists Association (TAJA).
The Yaris ATIV beat six other vehicles in the final round to win the coveted award. They include the Honda HR-V, Ford Ranger, Ford Everest, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, MG VS and Toyota Veloz.

A total of 13 new models launched in Thailand from October 1 last year to September 30 this year were eligible, with seven models making it to the final round after being tested by over 40 automotive journalists on November 3 at the Motorsport Park Suvarnabhumi.
