Suzuki is offering a special campaign at the BIG Motor Sale 2022, held from August 19-28 at at Bitec Bangna.
Customers are able to choose various promotions for Suzuki models including zero-percent interest rate, 150-day free drive or fuel card worth Bt50,000.
Minoru Amano, president of Suzuki Motor (Thailand) Co Ltd, said the BIG Motor Sale 2022 is expected to help stimulate the automobile market during Q3 due to the large number of sales promotions being offered by auto companies.
“Since the start of 2022, the Thai automotive market has been in constant struggle, particularly with the rising oil prices,” he said. “Despite being disrupted by the current turmoil, Suzuki has been able to maintains its sales trajectory.”
Currently, auto companies are also suffering from a global shortage of semiconductors that has dramatically slowed down production.
During the first half of 2022, automobile sales in Thailand reached 427,303 units, while Suzuki sold 11,267 vehicles, an increase of 5.8 per cent compared to the corresponding period a year ago.
Amano believes the economy is on its way to recovery and the automotive industry will see a brighter future ahead.
“The most important factor that has helped stimulate Suzuki’s sales continuously is the unique characteristics of our products,” he added. “Suzuki’s products have always been affordable, offering high value-for-money as well as outstanding fuel economy.”
Popular models from Suzuki include the XL7 MPV that has been upgraded for the 2022 model year and the Swift GL Plus, also coming with added features for 2022.
Suzuki Motor (Thailand) vice president Wallop Treererkngarm said the XL7, priced at Bt814,000 now comes with a wireless charger and front video recorder, along with LED lighting all-round, 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels, black wheel arch fenders and roof rails.
The Swift GL Plus special edition, priced at Bt567,000, features an aerodynamic kit including rear spoiler, shark fin antenna and new sticker design.
Also present at the Suzuki booth are the Ertiga MPV, Celerio eco hatchback, CIAZ eco sedan and Carry commercial truck.
