Suzuki is offering the Swift GL PLUS special edition that has been given sporty upgrades, and the company is hoping that it would continue the success of the GL MAX EDITION from last year.
The Swift GL PLUS is priced at Bt567,000 (Bt5,000 extra for Pearl White body color). Suzuki is also offering a special promotion with monthly installment starting at Bt3,333 (or 1.99-per cent low interest), Bt15,000 discount on accessories, free insurance and emergency service.
Minoru Amano, president of Suzuki Motor (Thailand) Co Ltd, said the Swift eco car is one of the most popular models from the brand.
“Since Suzuki began operations in Thailand, the Swift had always generated high sales figures, with accumulated sales of 139,477 units,” he said, adding that the Swift GL PLUS will help strengthen the company’s eco car portfolio for this year.
Wallop Treererkngam, executive director for sales and marketing, said from January to July 2021, sales of the Swift reached 3,901 units.
“The new edition will feature a sporty image packaged into a crowd-favorite hatchback eco car,” he added.
The Swift GL PLUS comes with exclusive full-body accessories including spoilers and skirts, shark fin antenna and black wheel arches, apart from a special sticker design.
The Swift is powered by a 1.2-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 83 horsepower and 108Nm, mated to a CVT offering an average fuel economy of 23km/l (E20 fuel).
Standard features include electronic stability program, traction control, engine idle stop, hill hold control and dual front airbags.
