More people are placing orders for new automobiles at this year’s Thailand International Motor Expo.
According to organizers, there has been an increase of up to 20 per cent at the halfway mark, with SUVs being the most popular segment, followed by passenger cars and pickup trucks.

Organizer Kwanchai Paphatphong said as of December 6, a total of 13,521 orders were placed for new automobiles along with 2,650 orders for motorcycles.
He said more than 748,000 visitors have come to the show, which concludes on December 12. The event is held at IMPACT Challenger Muangthong Thani.
“There will also be three more holidays from December 10-12 which, according to past statistics, will result in higher sales than regular weekdays,” Kwanchai said.
