Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co Ltd has confirmed that one of its employees at its Ayutthaya plant tested positive for COVID-19 on April 9, 2021. The associate is now in isolation and receiving medical care at a hospital.
The company stated that it continues to strictly follow regulations and measures issued by the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Disease Control to monitor and manage any outbreak while maintaining the highest level of safety.
Upon receiving confirmation, the company immediately reported the test result to the Ayutthaya Provincial Public Health Office. Other employees working closely with the associate in the production line were also informed and will undergo testing and self-quarantine for 14 days.
