Great Wall Motor (GWM) will start accepting orders for the ORA Good Cat electric car after its 2nd Brand Anniversary Press Conference through livestreaming via Facebook, YouTube and TikTok : GWM Thailand on February 9, 2023, during 19:00 – 20.00 hrs.
After it was introduced locally in October 2021, a total of 4,788 units have been delivered to customers, reflecting the increased popularity of EVs in Thailand.
The growing number of accumulated orders forced GWM to stop taking new orders in April last year, but now the company says it’s ready for the second batch, after negotiations with the parent company in China.
Narong Sritalayon, Managing Director of Great Wall Motor (Thailand), said, “Since the official launch of this phenomenal electric car in October 2021, the ORA Good Cat has achieved a total of more than 4,788 deliveries – which is another significant contribution by Great Wall Motor towards the growth of Thailand’s EV society. The overwhelming response to the ORA Good Cat reflects the rapidly growing popularity of all-electric vehicles among Thai people, and we aim to respond to this high level of interest by reopening for orders in this round.”
