UDON THANI, Thailand – Nissan Nat Autocar Ban Chan recently opened a new showroom and service center located in Ban Chan, Udon Thani.
This is the first showroom under the Nissan Retail Concept (NRC) in the Northeastern region of Thailand, according to a press release from Nissan Motor Thailand Co Ltd. It is also first Nissan Electric Vehicle (EV) dealerships in northeastern Thailand appointed to market the Nissan LEAF, which is the top-selling full Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) in the world, recently launched in Thailand with a pricetag of Bt1.99 million.
Nissan said it is implementing Nissan Retail Concept across its dealer network in Thailand. The company aims to improve all aspects of the customer experience, including facility design, service processes and the digital environment. More than 400 dealerships in 30 countries have already made the change. Nissan aims to implement NRC at more than 9,000 dealerships in more than 170 countries by the end of fiscal year 2022.

“The Nissan Retail Concept is our response to an ever-changing business environment, and represents Nissan’s commitment to providing customers with globally consistent high quality dealership experience – from sales to service – so to exceed their expectations,” said Antoine Barthes, president of Nissan Motor Thailand.
As a Nissan EV Dealer, the new facility will service Nissan LEAFs and provide EV chargers for customer use. This means that Nissan LEAF customers here will now have access to professionally trained services and charging facilities tailored specifically for them ahead of the arrival of the vehicle in late April.
“Nissan Nat Autocar Ban Chan showroom has two charging stations that any Nissan LEAF owner can use for free, enjoying coffee and snack in the lounge while their car battery recharge,” Wichai Fueangtaweechoke, president of Nat Autocar added.

Nat Autocar is considered as a leading automotive dealership in the upper northeastern region. Its first showroom is located at Samprao intersection in Udon Thani, and is capable of serving over 1,200 vehicles monthly. It also has a premium paint and body shop that can take up 400 vehicles per month. Currently it has a showroom display area for eight vehicles and servicing 600 vehicles per month.
Nissan currently operates 182 outlets across Thailand.
