AAS Auto Service Co Ltd, the official importer and distributor of Porsche and Bentley vehicles in Thailand, has upgraded its body repair and paint shop with an investment of Bt120 million.
The company recent staged a press conference to announce the investment at the AAS Body & Paint Excellence Centre on Vibhavadee Rangsit road and also took the opportunity to introduce members of its racing team, AAS Motorsport.
AAS executives say that the new facility is the largest and most modern body and paint repair center in the Asia-Pacific region, and has manufacturer approval to repair Porsche, Bentley, Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.
The 2,500-sqm AAS Body & Paint Excellence Centre offers repair services for aluminium, carbon fiber and steel body parts, and an integrated paint shop. Modern diagnostic equipment and tools help speed up service and also provide higher precision.
A team of more than 50 mechanics are stationed at the center.
Meanwhile in 2018 AAS Motorsport will participate in local and overseas motorsports events with the following drivers – Vuthikorn Intharaphuvasak, Kantathee Kusiri, Pasu Liptapallop, Kmik Karnasuta and Frenchman Maxime Jousse, apart from Tasanapol Intharaphuvasak representing the team in gokarting.
The team has 3 racing cars for the 2018 season – a 2015 Bentley Continental GT3 and two Porsche Cayman GT4 Club Sport MR.
