Toyota has cut the pricing of its Alphard luxury MPV by almost Bt700,000, in an effort to combat increased market competition from independent importers as well as Chinese electric MPVs.
Toyota Motor Thailand announced that it has introduced the 2026 Alphard and Vellfire 7-seat luxury MPVs imported from Japan, including an entry-level variant priced at Bt3,590,000.
This new “HEV Smart” trim comes equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, 10-way power-adjustable second-row seats controlled via a Detachable Tablet, a Massage Relaxation system, 4-zone automatic climate control and T-Connect.
Higher trims — HEV Premium and HEV Premium Luxury — now feature automated retractable side steps. Toyota is also introducing the “Eclipse Edition,” which adds a factory-installed Matte Paint Protection Film (PPF). The transparent matte film protects the paint from stone chips and insect stains while possessing self-healing capabilities for minor scratches.
All variants are powered by a 2.5-liter Dual VVT-i hybrid powertrain producing 250 horsepower. Paired with an upgraded E-Four electronic all-wheel-drive system and built on the TNGA platform, the MPV achieves a fuel economy rating of 17.9 km/L (ECO Sticker) and features the latest Toyota Safety Sense package.
